The term “the West Coast of Ontario” was first coined by a local resident in Goderich several decades ago and was in recognition of not only the beautiful natural features you can find in the Province of Ontario, such as great forests, ski hills, multiple rivers and lakes, and off course abutting four of the world renowned five Great Lakes, a collective body of fresh water unparalleled in the world! But also, this western part of Ontario has this unique 400+ km long shoreline running from Tobemory to Sarnia, with many sandy beaches making up most of this stretch of land, together with the awe-inspiring sunsets! This part of Ontario is continually being discovered by more and more people, especially by those living in the GTA, as this area provides such a wonderful and relaxing lifestyle, including fine dining, wineries and breweries, boating, hiking, live theatre, bicycling and just taken a leisurely walk along the beach and just waiting for the sun disappear of the horizon.
